Description: Brand name impressed into the face. The "S" stands for stronger than the regular ALAMO firebrick.

Equipment: Power-pressed, extrusion, air-rammed, hand-molding, tunnel kilns, periodic kilns.

Deposit: High-grade refractory fire clay.

Comments: Used in blast-furnace stoves, electric steelmelting furnace roofs. Brick from the collection of James Salata.
